The church roof structure included ornate timber trusses that required careful repair without losing their original form and detail. Standard replacement would have risked damaging the historic character of the structure.

Trace repaired the trusses using sympathetic methods designed to retain and replicate the original structure. Ornate splice repairs were used where appropriate, allowing sections of timber to be renewed while preserving the overall appearance of the truss.
Where replacement was required, new timber members were matched to the original design.
